The Nickel Bed Tent

Ready Set, Bloom, LLC.’s bed tent, “The Nickel”, is intended to keep children with disabilities, specifically autism, from escaping their room and putting themselves in a dangerous situation while parents or guardians are sleeping. Due to the uniqueness of children with ASD, Ready, Set, Bloom, LLC. cannot guarantee the product will contain all children.

The overall size of the tent, in inches, is L=77, W=39, H=35.

Bed Tent Fabric

Bed Tent fabric is made of polyester and is chemically treated with fire retardant.

Warranty / Return Policy

Ready, Set, Bloom, LLC gives a full 100% refund for any unopened bed tent for the first
30 days after purchase.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 days of return. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please note: we are aware that all children react differently to the Nickel Bed Tent and therefore requested refunds will be handled on a case by case basis.

Ready, Set, Bloom, LLC. used the following items or variations thereof during the testing of "The Nickel" Bed Tent:

Bed

Best used with slat, platform or daybed with bed rails positioned up against the corner of the child’s bedroom for maximum support. We tested our product using the IKEA - VIKARE Extendable bed frame. (The VIKARE bed has been discontinued by IKEA. There are several other IKEA beds that work very well with the Nickel Bed Tent)

Inside the Bed Tent

Bolsters are a great way to outline the interior of the bed, not only do they add support but they also provide a soft perimeter for your child during autistic outbursts or just to use as a pillow.

Audio/Visual Monitor

An audio/video monitor is a great way to monitor your child. We tested our product using the Summer Handheld Color Video Monitor. It offers night vision as well and that comes in handy throughout the night.

At Ready, Set, Bloom, LLC, our goal is to provide special needs children (i.e. Autism, ASD, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, etc.) and parents of special needs children, a safer night’s sleep using our Nickel Bed Tent. Our Nickel Bed Tents are designed to fit standard twin-sized mattresses. The mattress fits inside the base of the tent and helps keep children with disabilities from leaving their bed throughout the night. As parents of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, we know first hand the struggles and sleep problems that occur with autistic children and children with disabilities. With the Nickel Bed Tent, parents and their children can have a restful night’s sleep once again.

The Nickel Bed Tent is also portable, which makes it great for travel! As we all know, traveling with children with disabilities can be difficult, but now you can take your special needs child on the vacation you’ve been longing for.
